Privacy Policy

Artnconnect (operated by Artnsoul, Ontario, Canada) is the controller of personal information collected on the platform. The Privacy Officer can be reached at contact@artnsoul.info.

• Identity: first/last name, age, email, hashed password.
• Artists: discipline, artistic status, self-declared annual income, declared Ontario residency, optional link to work, identity preferences (LGBTQ+, BIPOC, Indigenous, optional), therapy history (optional).
• Professionals: title, licence number (CPO / CRPO / OCSWSSW), diploma, professional liability insurance certificate, specialties.
• Payments: card data never transits our servers, processed directly by Stripe Inc. (PCI-DSS Level 1).
• Technical: login logs, IP address, strictly necessary cookies.

Data is used solely to: (a) verify eligibility, (b) enable artist ↔ professional matching via our platform, (c) manage professional subscriptions, (d) ensure platform security and legal compliance. Legal basis: your explicit consent given at signup, revocable at any time.

Our platform suggests therapists based on your declared needs and preferences. It is a decision-support tool, no purely automated decision producing legal effects is made without human intervention. You may request manual review at contact@artnsoul.info.

We use the following providers, all bound by confidentiality obligations:

• Supabase (database hosting + document storage, encryption at rest and in transit).
• Stripe (professional subscription payments).
• Google / Apple (optional OAuth authentication).
• Jane App (session billing, off-platform, direct artist/professional relationship).

Some providers may store or process data outside Canada (United States, European Union). We ensure they offer protection comparable to PIPEDA.

• Active account: as long as you use the platform.
• Professional documents (licence, diploma, insurance): account lifetime + 12 months.
• Account deleted on request: erased within 30 days, except legal retention obligations (billing, tax: up to 7 years).

Professional documents stored in encrypted private storage. Access strictly limited to the owner and the founder (via a secured dashboard). Viewing via short-lived signed URLs (5 minutes). Passwords hashed (bcrypt). HTTPS/TLS on all communications.

In case of a security incident presenting a real risk of significant harm, you will be notified by email as soon as possible, and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada will be informed, per PIPEDA.

Only strictly necessary cookies (session, authentication) are enabled by default. No advertising cookies or third-party trackers. You may refuse non-essential cookies via the home banner.

Exploring without an account: an anonymous random identifier is kept in your browser to count opened profiles and clicks on "Book an appointment". It contains no name or email. If you ask a question without an account, your first name, last name, email and message are sent to the chosen therapist and kept in their space. A code sent to your email confirms the address. You can erase this identifier by clearing the site data.

The platform is restricted to persons 18 and older. No minor data is knowingly collected. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact us for immediate deletion.

Any material change will be notified by email at least 30 days before it takes effect.
